Food safety Associates Limited Experts and the Local Consultancy Service Providers (CSPs) under the Feed the Future Inclusive Agricultural Markets Activity In Resilience Zones (TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN AGRO-PROCESSING, QUALITY STANDARDS, VALUE ADDITION AND FOOD TRADE FOR AGRI-SMES IN RESILIENCE ZONES) Project recently carried out Mock Audits of companies in Resilience Zones that had applied and been scheduled for certification by Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS). This was done to prepare the companies by making sure all the GMPs and GHPs taught in the Sector Wide trainings held in the Resilience Zones have been implemented and all gaps that were identified during the previous field visits to these companies were filled according to the Road maps developed by FSA Experts before the final Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) Audit.
Other companies in the program that had not yet applied were also guided on the steps and the requirements needed before certification according to the developed road maps.
